Sindhu Sewa Samaj

With the blessings and guidance of Late Padmashri Dada Jiwanlal Jairamdas a veteran Gandhian, freedom fighter and instrumental in re-settlement of Sindhi refugees, who migrated from Pakistan, at Kubernagar, Sardarnagar & Thakkar Bapanagar. Ahmedabad, few leading social workers and eminent public men from business and industry joined hands together and formed Sindhu Sewa Samaj a Public Charitable Trust to carry out multifarious charitable and cultural activities for all round physical, social, cultural, educational, moral and spiritual development of the society, irrespective of race, religion, caste, colour, creed or sex. The Trust has constructed SINDHU BHAVAN to carry out above activities and to preserve the priceless cultural heritage of the most ancient race of INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION which was the basis of Indian culture. Sindhu Sewa Samaj was registered on 31st March 1999. It is also registered under the Income Tax Act. At present Trustcomprises of 51 Trustees, 65 Life Members and 17 Patrons SINDHU BHAVAN : It is a three storied complex with basement and is having carpet area of 2500 sq. meters. built upon plot of 4000 sq. meters. The building comprises of : (a) One AC Convention and Banquet Hall on Ground Floor. (b) One AC convention and Banquet Hall on First Floor. (c) Seven small activity Halls on Fiet Floor. (d) 13 well furnished AC rooms on Second Floor. (e) Dining Hall on Second Floor. (f) Cellar for parking. (g) Meditation Center on Ground Floor. Besides this an imposing Temple of JHULELAL SAIN has been built in the lawns surrounded by universal statues of Gods & Goddesses viz Shiv Shankar, Sita Ram, Radha Krishna, Durga Devi, & Gautam Budha.
